Reconnecting to the divine source
Reconnecting to the divine source
The main objective of Lemba is to bring humanity back to its own completeness by allowing everyone to activate the spiritual dimensions that lie dormant in the depths of his being.
The state of completeness referred here is the dimension of holiness, the highest state of inner purity and spiritual elevation that an incarnated human being can attain. In these states, a being radiates as a thousand suns combined. He becomes Mahungu again and re-establishes the connection with the pure source of eternal life. The same connection lost at the time of the original separation now rehabilitated. Reconnecting to the divine source is therefore the goal of Lemba initiation.
Lemba is also about learning how to manipulate the life energies around us, and ensuring that the vibrations continue to flow harmoniously to preserve the balance of the worlds, the vitality, and the well-being of all creatures.
The Supreme Creator, Nzambi A Mpungu tulendo, is also Mampungu, the divine force manifested in every creature. He is the substratum of all creation. The Creative Energy through which everything appears and disappears.
Lemba teachings are essentially oral. The composition of the teaching is 85% practical, 10% understanding, and 5% celebration.
The 85% of practice corresponds to the whole series of practical exercises, rules of life and fasting times, spiritual retreats, and the three weeks of the fasting, called Ntémo.
The 10% of comprehension corresponds to the study of the Laws and texts, and the oral transmission of the teachings.
Here are, as an indication, the themes covered in the teachings:
- The three basic laws (compulsory): The Law of Knots, the Law of Emanations, the Law of Connections. It is mandatory to study these three basic spiritual Laws to facilitate the understanding of the rest of the teachings.
- The Energy of Life, the Divine Energy
- The nature of thoughts, ego and intellect
- The Role of Attention in the Work of the Mind
- The Supreme Being, ancestors and the living
- Mahungu and the Divine Dimensions
- Pure acts and the 4th dimension
- Mystical states (ecstasy, inner vision...)
- The rule of benevolence
The Wisdom of the World (analysing the spiritual traditions of the world from the Lemba perspective)

- Etc...
